Kyle Martin Strickland was born in Florida, raised in Alabama, and– owing to a serious mental illness called love– spent a year living in Massachusetts during one of the iciest winters on record.
Kyle was involved in Drama Club, Writing Club, and gaming during his adolescent years. He studied Performing Arts and Production Design before eventually majoring in Professional Writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design. While attending SCAD, Kyle was President of the student club Writer’s Block and worked an editorial internship at Crane Hill Publishing.
Kyle has experience working in sales and customer service and writes for multiple web comics. He has short fiction published in An Alabama Christmas and A Florida Christmas, as well as his works of Bite-Sized Fiction through Matter Deep. Kyle’s first shortstory collection, Say No to Sparkles, was released in October 2012. He is now hard at work on his debut novel, Mars 1.
Kyle is still a gamer, a legendary Game Master among his peers at SCAD, and also a trained Mime.
